Telling stories through music

Nicolas J.C. Godefroy studied classical music and composition at the Regional Conservatory of Caen (France) and graduated from Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) majoring in film scoring composition, orchestration and conducting with the best honors "Summa Cum Laude".

After graduating from college, he spent couple of years in Hollywood working in the film and TV industry on many films such as The Tale of Desperaux (Universal), The Cold Light of Day (Summit Entertainment feat. Bruce Willis, Sigourney Weaver, Henri Cavill), The Raven (John Cusack), as well as TV Shows such as Human Target, Caprica, and Trauma, and Indie films such as Sleep Tight and Vanishing on 7th Street (Hayden Christensen)

His love for asian cultures led him to Indonesia where he spent 10 years working mostly in the advertising industry writing and producing music for brands such as Google, Samsung, Hyundai, Toyota, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Honda and many more…

In 2018 he also got to compose and orchestrate music for one of the most important sports games event in the world known as the Asian Games.

His experience in film school and arts facilitates communication with directors and producers with whom he works.

Multi-instrumentalist, lead singer and lead guitarist in various progressive rock bands, Nico's empathy and curiosity for all the different styles and genres of music give him an advantage to create new colorful and cinematic sounds and ideas.




While working at Bumble Bee Studios, Nico got to compose and supervise the production of hundreds of songs and background music for all the Pizza Hut Restaurants in Indonesia in many different genres (classical music, pop, indie rock, Ballads, K-pop, etc…)
