Randomising the music sections in a Game

Back in the days, I used to play a game called Commando on Amstrad CPC 6128.
It was extremely hard to play and the problem is that every-time I was dying I was hearing the same music intro over and over and it was driving me nuts!
(In fact I don’t think I ever heard the music in full).

A simple but effective interactive music trick I found to avoid boredom in a game is to have the music starts from a different section every time the player loses.
It is not very difficult to implement in Wwise and really helps the player to not lose control
Here is an example of a piece I composed using that trick.
